Sarah’s non-fiction work, “Imaginary Basketball: A New Method for Teaching Musical Rhythm,” is still in development. The work is based on her years of teaching choir to elementary school students. The game she created, “Imaginary Basketball,” teaches students to read, perform, and compose their own songs to sing. Even with no instruments in hand, students can learn music theory in a fun, memorable, way that allows their own creativity to take center stage.
